Giant Chess Set at the Westwood Mall

Giant Chess Set at the Westwood Mall

This huge chess set recently arrived at the Westwood Mall in Jackson, Michigan. They are sturdy thick plastic pieces with some weight added inside so that they will not tip over easily. The Westwood Mall was opened in 1972, so it has been 43 years that Jackson chess connoisseurs have waited to be able to play and analyze their games on such a large scale. A set this size you give you a new dimension in dep th and a greater outlook at observing variations. There are even giant checker pieces that are stacked on a rolling rack for all the checker enthusiasts. The only problem I see with this set is the pawns are almost as tall as the bishops and you can mistake a pawn for a bishop if you are not careful. This is Jimio saying: *Chess for Fun* *Come down to Westwood Mall and give the Giant Set a try*
