Even though it has been a cool Summer, the Chess is Hot at the Jackson Chess Club. Somebody always has an interesting set or book they bring down and if you have any game you’d like to go over, Jimio or many of the other members would be happy to check it out and go through all the inner working and variations. The chess lessons here are totally free! This is Jimio saying *Chess for Fun*

Its Summertime and the fishing is easy but over the chessboard it can get a little more complicated. That’s the fun of improving at chess. Watching yourself get better and better and finding more openings to employ and getting much deeper into a position. It’s like an elaborate battle of a war where suddenly the General finds out the enemy has received more help from unknown sources sand he now must change plans. So you try new strategies and more aggressive ambushes in the hopes it all works out. Some risk involved but not too much that you collapse from the sides or from behind. Even a hard fought battle can be welcomed with a draw because getting into huge trouble can feel like a victory when both side concede equality.
